Okay maybe I can get a couple of opinions on ...

Hello again

I have actually been stitching on a CQ block- I love purple and red together ie red hatters (who wear red hats and purple dressers ) and with this poor little block I went berserk and made it well a little bit red!

Its not quite finished but I am going to work on a different one tonight as its too close for comfort - U know how you are looking at and working on something and u hit a blank wall kinda that has happened I know I need to do some more beads and theres a couple of seam treatments that need a little bit more added.

love n hugs bear xoxoxoxox

PS I hope you like it??

Great to see you stitching again my beary friend.
The block is gorgeous, and I don't think it is too red at all! You have said more beading, I agree there, and perhaps something in the top and/or bottom right corners to soften the 'squareness' of the silkie.

Goodness Bear, where did you leave any room for any more? And I think the balance between the red and purple is simply stunning. Unless of course you wanted it to be more purple I wouldn't touch it - it's a glorious work of art!! You are a brilliant needlewoman.

I'm so glad I found you! you left a couple of lovely comments (thank you!!) on my blog, but somehow your blog address didn't get entered right (I think it was one of those "auto-complete" issues??). anyhow, I fixed your URL and now your comment is linked to your blog.
you do lovely work! I am so impressed! Especially with your silk ribbon work; I am not very adept w/ribbon yet.
thanks again for leaving a comment!
